French Leather opens bright and sharp, with juniper berry, lime, bergamot and a flick of pink pepper. Rose comes up in the heart with clary sage and a dry, sunny thread of hay. The base settles into Virginia cedar and a soft suede accord, so the leather feels smooth and light rather than smoky. This Memo Paris perfume is a fresh floral leather with a polished, city feel. It suits warm days, the office and relaxed evenings out, and works well for anyone who wants leather without heaviness. It was composed by perfumer Aliénor Massenet as part of the house's Cuirs Nomades collection.
