About this perfume
Donna Born in Roma Purple Melancholia by Valentino opens with plum, which smells dark, juicy and a little tart. Osmanthus follows in the heart, a soft floral note with a fruity, apricot warmth. Vanilla finishes it as a warm, smooth base that rounds off the fruit. The mood is rich, moody and feminine. It is sweet without being sugary, and the floral heart keeps it from feeling plain. It tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and dressed up occasions. It is a good pick if you like fruit and vanilla but want something with more depth than a light summer scent.
