About this perfume
Sauvage Elixir joined Dior's Sauvage line in 2021 as a highly concentrated version. This Dior perfume opens with grapefruit and warm spice from cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom. Lavender from Nyons, in the south of France, sits at the heart. The base is dark and smooth, with licorice, amber, vetiver and patchouli. It smells sweeter and more resinous than the Eau de Parfum, closer to spiced wood than fresh citrus. It suits men who like a heavy, warm scent with real presence. Save it for evenings, cooler months and special occasions. Go light: one or two sprays is plenty.
