Jeroboam is a Paris house created by François Hénin of Jovoy with perfumer Vanina Muracciole. Every scent is an extrait de parfum, most carry Esperanto names, and it began with Origino, a musk base. The 30ml bottle plays on the jeroboam, a three-litre bottle. Every bottle is checked before it ships, with its batch code left readable. About Jeroboam
Jeroboam was created in Paris by François Hénin, the man behind Jovoy's perfumes and shops, with independent perfumer Vanina Muracciole. It began with Origino, a concentrated blend of musks that started as an experiment between the two and became the thread of a whole house. The name plays on size: a jeroboam is a three-litre bottle, while the house's classic bottle holds 30ml.
Jeroboam has no sub-lines. What you need to know instead:
- All extraits: every scent is made at extrait de parfum strength, which the house chose for scents meant to leave a trail.
- Esperanto names: most scents carry an Esperanto name. Esperanto was invented in the late 19th century as a shared language for everyone. Origino means origin.
- Musk first: the house reasoned that most modern perfumes rest on musk, which is why Origino came first.
- Two sizes: most scents here come in 30ml and 100ml.

Why is Jeroboam so strong?
Because every scent is an extrait de parfum, the most concentrated of the usual perfume strengths. The house wanted scents in their purest form, built to be noticed. In practice, start with one or two sprays and add more only if you need it.
How do I check a Jeroboam bottle is genuine?
Read the batch code on the box, then the one on the bottle, and make sure they match. If either has been cut out or hidden under a sticker, ask why. Which Jeroboam suits summer in the UAE?
Unue is the brightest: pineapple, pink pepper, anise and bergamot over Egyptian jasmine and sandalwood. Gozo puts tuberose, saffron and bergamot on top. As extraits, both are best used lightly in the heat. Keep Your Oudhness and Oriento for cooler nights.
