About this perfume
Soul of Oud is a dark, woody perfume from Ramón Monegal, built around two kinds of oud. It opens warm and spicy with cashmeran, nutmeg and coriander, then moves into a heart of Assam oud, Laos oud and red rose. Vetiver, amber and vanilla carry the dry-down, so the smoke and wood settle into something softer and slightly sweet. This is the Extrait de Parfum, a deep and concentrated scent where a little goes a long way. The notes suit cool evenings, winter and occasions where you want a perfume with presence. It works well for anyone who already likes oud and wants it paired with rose rather than sugar. Ramón Monegal composed it himself, and it launched in 2017. It belongs to the house's My Ouds collection.
