L'Homme Idéal by Guerlain opens with citrus, bitter orange, orange blossom and rosemary, bright with a herbal edge. The heart is almond with tonka bean, soft, nutty and gently sweet, often read as a hint of amaretto or cherry. Leather, cedar and vetiver make the base smooth and woody. It is a warm, refined perfume with a friendly and polished mood, and it tends to suit evenings, cooler weather, dinners and men who like a sweet almond scent with a clean woody finish. Fragrantica lists it as a 2014 launch by Thierry Wasser.
