About this perfume
Story of Your Life opens with resinous cistus and davana, which smell warm, sweet and a little fruity, while benzoin adds a soft, balsamic edge. The heart brings laurel and orange blossom over a brioche accord, so it smells of baked bread and flowers together. The base is rum, vanilla and amber wood, sweet and slightly boozy. Story of Your Life by Etat Libre d'Orange is a gourmand perfume with a cosy, comforting mood. The laurel and the resins stop it from reading too sugary. It tends to suit cooler weather and evenings, and anyone who likes bakery and vanilla notes with a little warmth.
