About this perfume
Epicentro is a woody aromatic extrait de parfum from Filippo Sorcinelli, launched in 2019 as the first chapter of his Délire de Voyage line. It begins with bergamot and Virginia cedar, crisp and dry. The heart turns herbal and green with calamus, mate and ambrette. Underneath sits a resinous, smoky base of angelica, fir balsam, vetiver, guaiac wood, cumin, amber and benzoin, like cold mountain air near a wood fire. This perfume suits someone who wants a fresh yet serious woody scent with an unusual edge, for cooler evenings, gallery visits or quiet winter days. The crumpled silver cap recreates a fragment of rubble from the village of Bolognola.
