Dark Blue by Hugo Boss opens with ginger, grapefruit, orange, lemon and lime, fresh and lightly spicy. The heart brings cypress, geranium, mahogany, cardamom and sage, giving it a dry, aromatic middle. Vanilla, cedar, benzoin, vetiver and patchouli form a warm, woody base with a soft sweet edge. Fragrantica credits Alain Astori and Béatrice Piquet, and it launched in 1999 in its blue cocktail shaker bottle.
