Absolute Aphrodisiac opens with white flowers and musk, then moves into vanilla and castoreum. Castoreum is an animal note that smells warm, a little leathery and slightly sweet. Amber and leather finish it, so the scent turns deeper and drier as it settles. Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio Parfums Privés is a perfume from 2015 that is worn close to the skin and stays nearly linear, so it changes little from start to finish. The mood is warm, intimate and a touch dark. With these notes and the Eau de Parfum strength, it tends to suit evenings and cooler weather. It is a good pick if you like vanilla and musk with some leather underneath.
