Crying of Evil — Stéphane Humbert Lucas

Inspired by Charles Baudelaire's "Les Fleurs du Mal" — a poetic project expressing the eternal tug-of-war between man's desire for the absolute and his attraction to vices. A vibrant burst of red berries and warm spice opens the composition, before tuberose and violet lend an airy, sweetened floral edge. A poetic alchemy tinged with leather, myrrh, and rare flowers magnifies sensibility to the extreme — sandalwood and rose deepen into a smoky, animalic base of amber, olibanum, patchouli, and musk. Intense, dramatic, and unmistakably part of the Serpent Collection.
