Evokes the legendary story of Cleopatra VII — after her defeat, rather than be taken captive to Rome, legend says she allowed herself to die from a snake bite. This perfume takes that dramatic moment of power, sensuality, danger, and transformation as its muse. A mentholated burst of bergamot, spearmint, and blackcurrant opens the composition, settling into osmanthus and jasmine sambac, before contrasting tobacco, date, and saffron elements add a viper's bite of energy. Egyptological, opulent, and full of contrasts — bright and dark, regal and dangerous, all at once.
